Alias «SlimSpin» geboren im Jahre 1987, setzt sich seit seinem 14. Lebensjahr für die jugendkulturelle Förderung für Tanz und Hip-Hop in Biel/Bienne ein. Bereits 2003 organisierte er in Zusammenarbeit mit der Jugendarbeit Biel und Nidau sein erstes Breaking Battle. 2004 folgte der Beitritt in die Capsule Corporation. Diese Formation setzt sich zusammen aus Tänzer*innen, DJs, Graffitikünstler*innen und Rapper*innen, welche an Battles teilnehmen sowie verschiedenste Tanz- und Musikanlässe organisieren und daran selbst Performen. Er bildet sich stets mit Workshops, Intensivkursen, Battles und Performances weiter. Er unterrichtete in zahlreichen Institutionen wie der Berner Fachhochschule, der Pädagogischen Hochschule Luzern, der Jungen Bühne Bern und in zahlreichen öffentlichen und privaten Schulen. Als Nachfolger der ersten Generation B-Boy’s and B-Girl’s in Biel, entwickelte er das Originalmaterial seiner Vorgänger weiter, was ihn bereits auf drei Kontinente führte. Durch den in 2011 statt gefundenen Kontakt mit der klassischen und zeitgenössischen Tanzszene gehen seine Tendenzen immer mehr in Richtung Bühnenstücke und Performances. So hielt sich Marc für eine längere Zeit in Berlin auf und bildete sich in diesen Künsten weiter. Gründete dann das Kollektiv Cie Capsule, welche das Ziel hat, sich mit Film und Performance Art durch Tanz auseinander zu setzen. Das Kollektiv nahm an der dritten Ausgabe (2023) von danse danza tanz! teil. Sie erarbeiteten das Stück „Meat Market“ von Marcel Leemann physical dance theater gemeinsam mit ihm. Das Projekt entwickelte sich weiter und die Cie Capsule hat mit Marcel’s Segen ein komplett neues Stück kreiert mit der selben Thematik. „Meat Market 2.0“ hatte seine Premiere am 24. Januar 2025 im Nebia Bienne Spectaculaire.

Alias « SlimSpin » né en 1987, il s’engage depuis son 14e année pour la promotion de la culture des jeunes pour la danse et le hip-hop à Bienne/Biel. Dès 2003, il a organisé en collaboration avec l’animation socioculturelle de Bienne et Nidau sa première Breaking Battle. En 2004 a suivi son adhésion à la Capsule Corporation. Cette formation se compose de danseur·se·s, de DJ, d’artistes de graffiti et de rappeur·se·s qui participent à des battles et organisent diverses manifestations de danse et de musique auxquelles ils se produisent eux-mêmes. Il se forme continuellement par le biais d’ateliers, de cours intensifs, de battles et de performances. Il a enseigné dans de nombreuses institutions comme la Haute école spécialisée bernoise, la Haute école pédagogique de Lucerne, la Junge Bühne Bern et dans de nombreuses écoles publiques et privées. En tant que successeur de la première génération de B-Boys et B-Girls à Bienne, il a développé davantage le matériel original de ses prédécesseurs, ce qui l’a déjà mené sur trois continents. Par le contact établi en 2011 avec la scène de danse classique et contemporaine, ses tendances vont de plus en plus vers les pièces de théâtre et les performances. Marc s’est donc installé pendant une période plus longue à Berlin et s’est perfectionné dans ces arts. Il a alors fondé le collectif Cie Capsule, qui a pour objectif de s’interroger sur le film et l’art de la performance à travers la danse. Le collectif a participé à la troisième édition (2023) de danse danza tanz! (patrimoine, danse !). Ils ont élaboré la pièce Meat Market du physical dance theater de Marcel Leemann ensemble avec lui. Le projet s’est poursuivi et la Cie Capsule a créé une toute nouvelle pièce avec l’accord de Marcel sur la même thématique. Meat Market 2.0 a eu sa première le 24 janvier 2025 au Nebia Bienne Spectaculaire.

Alias „SlimSpin“ born in 1987, he has been committed since his 14th year to promoting youth culture for dance and hip-hop in Biel/Bienne. As early as 2003, he organized his first Breaking Battle in collaboration with youth work in Biel and Nidau. In 2004 came his joining of Capsule Corporation. This formation consists of dancers, DJs, graffiti artists, and rappers who participate in battles and organize various dance and music events in which they themselves perform. He continuously trains himself through workshops, intensive courses, battles, and performances. He has taught in numerous institutions such as Bern University of Applied Sciences, Lucerne University of Teacher Education, Junge Bühne Bern, and in numerous public and private schools. As successor to the first generation of B-Boys and B-Girls in Biel, he further developed the original material of his predecessors, which has already taken him to three continents. Through the contact established in 2011 with the classical and contemporary dance scene, his tendencies increasingly move towards stage pieces and performances. Marc therefore stayed in Berlin for an extended period and further trained in these arts. He then founded the collective Cie Capsule, which aims to engage with film and performance art through dance. The collective participated in the third edition (2023) of danse danza tanz! (heritage, dance!). They developed the piece Meat Market from Marcel Leemann’s physical dance theater together with him. The project continued to develop and Cie Capsule created a completely new piece with Marcel’s blessing on the same theme. Meat Market 2.0 had its premiere on January 24, 2025 at Nebia Bienne Spectaculaire.
